The Trossachs are known as "Scotland in Miniature" as the area contains all the scenery that a visitor would expect to see on a visit to Scotland. Aberfoyle and The Trossachs have much to offer visitors to this beautiful area as it is steeped in history and legend such as Rob Roy Macgregor, Sir Walter Scott and the Rev Robert Kirk, who in 1692 mysteriously disappeared on the Fairy Knowe just 10 minutes walk from Lomond View.
